<3 Harriet Update <3

Harriet is a four month old shepherd husky mix that would love a home with another large breed buddy! She is in recovery from a femoral head osteotomy, but should be able to live a normal life once healed properly. She is currently on limited exercise to help heal but regulates herself well during play (and the vet said that’s fine!) Harriet has a strong personality and needs a dog savvy home, she becomes frustrated about her condition and can act out. She is ever so smart and turning into a wonderful dog!

Hi! My name is Harriet. I am 13 weeks young and everyone is sure I’m a Shepherd mix! In true shepherd fashion I am VERY smart and because of that I get bored easily and am always on the go! I love to go on walks and my foster mom says I’m highly trainable, I already offer up “sit” after learning it in one, well, sitting”! I am a very strong girl and need an equally strong leader, and I need a large doggy sibling that can handle my personality. I would also do just fine on my own, as I bond strongly with my people!! As you can see, I am going to be quite the stunning beauty when I grow up, and everyone thinks I’m oh so cute now! Harriet is great in the car and is learning leash manners well. She is house trained but as most puppies will in the first 6 months, expect some accidents! If you have the love, time and energy, please go to www.victoriahumaneociety.com and fill out an application!
Thank you!!
